MS Finnmarken in Kirkenes: Turning point of sea cruise in Norway

This is a post from the time when I still used a DSLR and iPhone in parallel. I keep the post online for nostalgic purposes.

In 2007 I spent two weeks on a cruise along the Norwegian coast from Bergen to Kirkenes and back. I traveled on board the Hurtigruten Ship MS Finnmarken, one of the most modern ships of the Hurtigruten fleet. The Journey was an awesome experience and I was surprised, how quickly the human body adapts to the polar night.

The above photo shows the MS Finnmarken docked at the harbour in Kirkenes, the most northern point of the Journey.

The photo is from a Nikon D70 and was enhanced (Saturation) using Apple Aperture (discontinued).
