How short two hours can be: Watching an Aurora Borealis

This is an old blog post from the time when I still used a DSLR. I keep it online for nostalgic purposes as this is not an iPhone only photo blog.

This is still the same Aurora Borealis I experienced in Batsfjord, Norway. It was one of the most amazing experiences I ever had during a trip.

The foreground is a little blurry. I just a carried a simple and lightweight tripod with me that could not withstand the heavy wind. The first thing after I returned from the trip was to buy a stable tripod.

I slightly enhanced this 20 second long time exposure with Apple Aperture [Mac App Store].
